Compliance & Ethics Helpline

Eastern Kentucky University is dedicated to furthering EKU’s mission and strategic plan by proactively partnering faculty, staff, students, and administration to promote an institutional culture of compliance by effectively identifying, prioritizing, and managing potential violations of law, regulation, and University policy and procedure and by effectively establishing a controlled environment that reflects the legal, ethical and regulatory scheme in which the University is both expected and obligated to operate.

REPORT AN ISSUE
EKU desires for members of its faculty and staff to feel comfortable approaching supervisors about incidents they believe could violate established laws, University Policy, and/or other standards or practices of the University. However, in the event an EKU employee is not comfortable addressing concerns directly with their supervisor or in the case of an individual not employed by EKU wishing to make a report, such incidents can be shared with the Office of University Counsel at the email and phone number listed at the bottom left side of this page.

Please note, though, that the Office of University Counsel is not a 911 or Emergency Service. If you require emergency assistance, please contact 911 and/or your local authorities. Individuals on EKU’s main campus that require emergency assistance should call: 859-622-1111.

COMING SOON: The Office of University Counsel will soon be able to accept fully anonymous reports by online form. This feature is still in development at this time, but please check back to this website in Fall 2024 for this function to be added.
